Installing EPS Bonded Bead Cavity Wall Insulation in Bournemouth
We install your cavity walls market leading product EPS Bonded Beads
More heat is lost through the walls of your home than in any other way. By investing in cavity wall insulation you can significantly reduce the heat loss from your home. Maintaining the heat inside your home keeps you warm and cosy when you need to be. It also works in reverse by keeping your house cooler in the summer months.
Installing cavity wall insulation in your home will not only help to decrease your heating bills by saving energy lost through the walls, it will also help to reduce your carbon footprint by limiting the amount of CO² and other greenhouse gases emitted from your property.
Cavity Wall Insulations
Many homes built between the 1920s and 1990s were constructed with a cavity between the internal and external walls, but not all were insulated at the time. If your property has uninsulated or poorly insulated cavity walls, you’re likely losing a significant amount of heat – especially in winter.
Our cavity wall insulation service involves injecting bonded polystyrene beads into the cavity space via small drilled holes in the outer wall. These beads form an effective thermal barrier while allowing the walls to breathe, reducing the risk of condensation. Once installed, the holes are filled and colour-matched to blend with your brickwork.
This service is best suited for:
- Homes built after the 1920s with cavity wall construction
- Properties with no existing insulation or outdated mineral fibre
- Landlords looking to meet minimum EPC requirements before letting
- Homeowners wanting lower heating bills without major disruption
It’s a quick and tidy process, usually completed in a day, and offers long-term improvements to thermal comfort and energy use.

Loft Insulation
Heat rises – and in homes without proper loft insulation, a large portion of warmth escapes directly through the roof. Upgrading or installing loft insulation is one of the simplest and most effective ways to improve energy efficiency, reduce heating costs, and create a more comfortable living environment.
We install high-performance insulation rolls that meet or exceed current building regulations. Our team ensures full coverage while maintaining airflow to avoid condensation and maintain roof health.
Our loft insulation service includes:
An inspection to check existing insulation levels and ventilation
Safe removal and disposal of any outdated, compressed or damaged insulation
Supply and installation of new insulation to the recommended depth (typically 270mm)
Advice on options such as loft boarding, storage space and airflow management
Ideal for:
- Residential properties with accessible lofts
- Homes where insulation is under 150mm thick
- Owners preparing for a home sale or EPC assessment
- Households looking for long-term energy savings without major renovation

Cavity Wall Extraction
Cavity wall insulation only works when it’s properly installed – and in many older properties, that hasn’t always been the case. Poor installation, unsuitable wall cavities, or use of outdated materials can lead to cold spots, damp patches, or even structural issues over time.
Our cavity wall inspection and extraction service is designed to identify and correct these issues. We carry out detailed checks using specialist tools like borescopes and thermal imaging, allowing us to assess insulation condition without causing unnecessary damage.
Where problems are found, we offer full removal of the old insulation, including:
Blown fibre that has compacted or settled unevenly
Materials causing moisture retention or mould
Partial fills that are no longer effective
After extraction, we can refill the cavity with modern bonded bead insulation, providing a consistent, breathable and high-performing thermal layer.
This service is especially useful for, properties built before modern cavity fill standards, homes suffering from internal damp or draughts and for landlords aiming to meet new energy efficiency regulations.
It’s a smart step for anyone unsure about what’s in their walls – and a necessary one if you're seeing the signs of failed insulation.

Cavity Wall Insulation
A quick an easy option to add insulation to your walls is to fill the void with Thermabead cavity insulation. The product stops moisture crossing the void for a warmer and dryer house. If your home has uninsulated cavity walls, it’s likely losing a large portion of heat through the external walls. Our cavity wall insulation service uses bonded polystyrene beads, which are blown into the cavity through small holes drilled in the outer wall. This method is fast, clean, and effective — with the holes filled and colour-matched afterwards.

Wall Cavity Extraction
Not all cavity wall insulation is installed properly — and in some cases, it can even cause damp or cold spots if the wrong material was used or if the cavity was not suitable to begin with. We offer full cavity wall checks using inspection borescopes and thermal imaging where needed, so you know exactly what condition your insulation is in. If necessary, we can carry out a complete extraction of old or failed insulation materials.

Traditional Loft Insulation
Fibre wools loft insulation requires replacing every 5 years as it shrinks and looses its seal. The latest recommendations are to have at least a 270mm depth of insulation. Houses not built recently will not meet the minimum standards unless they have replaced their old insulation. Insulating your loft is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to improve your home’s energy efficiency. We use modern insulation materials that meet current standards for thermal performance and airflow, helping you keep heat in during the colder months and out during summer.
