Frequently Asked Questions

Suitability depends on your property’s construction, condition and existing insulation. Our surveyors assess the relevant areas, including ventilation and any visible defects, before recommending suitable cavity wall or loft insulation.

The cost depends on the service, property size, access and any preparation or removal work required. A quotation survey allows us to assess your property and provide a written price for the proposed work.

Not always. Existing loft insulation may be suitable for topping up, while failed or unsuitable cavity insulation may require extraction. We assess its condition before advising whether removal, replacement or additional insulation is appropriate.

We offer free quotation surveys for proposed insulation work. Specialist damp investigations and pre-purchase surveys are separate services; please contact us to confirm what is included and any applicable fees.

The level of disruption depends on the work and access required. We explain the installation process beforehand, protect your property and discuss any particular access requirements identified during the survey.
